 The DEERS is a group of like-minded people working to accomplish a common mission. DEERS members are dedicated to community self-reliance and have a mandate to achieve the goals of sustainable development in the fields of ecotourism and conservation. We are a registered as a public charitable trust.   

“DEERS” believes in implementing the conception that if properly planned and managed, ecotourism can offer many economic advantages for governments, private enterprise and local groups and communities. 

It can also act as an efficient tool for preserving the natural and cultural heritage. However, when practiced incorrectly, ecotourism may have controversial effects on existing ecosystems, local communities and traditional cultures. 

For this reason, our main objective is to maximize the economic, environmental and social benefits of ecotourism and to create an eco-friendly villages in Orissa natural areas  which holds the real nature’s beauty and bounty.
